Subject:Mother left state with child

My nephew had a custody hearing in place for 11/13/09. The mother claimed she wanted to settle out of court and then took the child to live in Colorado with her mother. My nephew currently resides in Pennsylvania. What are his rights? He paid child support and spent a lot of time with the little boy before he was taken.

Subject:wage garnishment

Hello:

i am having my child and spousal support payments taken directly out of my paycheck even though I have never refused to make such payments and did make payment to the ex even before the court-ordered support order.

i dont like that my paycheck is being garnished. i know people that work in payroll so they know my business. my company charges me for garnishing my pay and the ex needs to pay an annual fee - both of these expenses could be used on the children.

i dont have the benefit of garnishing my exes wages to get her share of the medical payments.

i feel that by having the states domestic services (or whatever department) deducting my money and holding it in an account they may be collecting interest on these monies -- money that could also be going to my kids.

what can i do to stop these garnishments?

I just want to take a moment to thank everyone that attended the meeting on Monday night in Levittown. everyone was helpful to me and all had a "similar yet unique" story to tell. I walked away feeling better and had a much more positive outlook on things I was not feeling so good about prior to the meeting. Thank you all for listening. I look forward to the next meeting.
